My name is Alexandra Clement, and I am a first year PhD student in the PhD Health Quality program at Queen’s University, which is in Ontario, Canada. Over the summer in 2021, I was incredibly fortunate to have the EAAD host my internship, with Prof. Dr. Ulrich Hegerl as my supervisor.

The European Health and Digital Executive Agency recently promoted our iFightDepression Tool on their website.

EAAD supports European Depression Day and continues efforts to improve depression treatment and suicide prevention through European Union (EU) funded projects.

World Suicide Prevention Day takes place on September 10th every year to raise global awareness and encourage worldwide commitment to prevent suicide.

The main goal of EAAD-Best is to reduce the burden associated with depression and suicidal behaviour at the individual and societal level in Europe.
