EAAD-Best project has been launched by the consortium of 10 project partners joining forces to improve depression treatment and suicide prevention by community based interventions.

The EU-funded project MENTUPP, Mental Health Promotion and Intervention in Occupational Settings, proudly supports Self-Injury & Self-Harm Awareness Day 2021 (SIAD). On this day we increase awareness about the signs of self-harm, challenge stigma and encourage those self-harming to reach out for support.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) states that despite nearly 1 billion people living with mental health disorders, mental health is one of the most neglected areas of public health.

Each year, around 20 million European citizens are affected from depression. Depression is a serious illness which impacts on all aspects of life, including work. While Small and Medium Sized enterprises particularly face substantial economic losses due to the global impact of COVID - 19, the MENTUPP consortium anticipates, that capacities for mental health promotion and provision in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) will be even more limited in the future.
